Yes, on a firm, level surface outdoors with clear space around and above it — keep it away from fences, furniture, parasols and overhanging branches. At about 1m tall it works well as an upright feature at the edge of a seating area rather than in the middle of a table.
Propane on the included 27mm clip-on regulator, taking a cylinder up to 13kg (not included). At 10kW an 11kg patio bottle lasts around 14 hours and a 10kg Gaslight around 13 hours, so a typical evening barely makes a dent in it.
No — it's a decorative gas fire pit for warmth and flame effect, not a cooking appliance. Keep food, skewers and pans off it and use a gas BBQ or outdoor cooker for cooking.
Glass rocks, a rain cover, the hose and the 27mm clip-on regulator are all included — you add the propane bottle. Let it cool fully, then cover it between uses to keep rain out of the burner.
