Which cylinder fits inside, and how long will it last for a garden party?

It takes a 5kg or 6kg leisure propane cylinder inside the table (71 × 71 × 62cm), on the included 27mm clip-on regulator. At 13kW that's roughly 6 hours from a 6kg bottle and 5 hours from a 5kg — an evening or two of entertaining, and longer at a lower flame.

Is it safe to sit around with children and guests nearby?

The tempered glass windshield keeps the flame steady and shields it from knocks, but the lava rocks, burner and surround get hot — keep children and pets at a sensible distance, never move it while lit, and turn the gas off at the bottle when you finish.

Can I put drinks and plates on it while it's lit?

Use the glass surface around the burner for drinks, but keep everything clear of the burner area and the windshield while the fire pit is lit or still warm. Once it's off and cool it works as a normal patio table.

What's included in the box, and how long does assembly take?

Lava rocks, the glass windshield, a weatherproof cover and the 27mm clip-on regulator are included; the gas cylinder isn't. Allow about an hour for assembly, then leak-test the connections with soapy water before the first light.
